PRESS RELEASE FROM TAYLOR COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT
Beginning in August 2020, the circuit court will recommence jury trials. The circuit court will implement safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Those measures will include wearing face masks at all times, social distancing, provision of hand sanitizer and gloves. In addition, there will be enhanced cleaning. Jurors who report will be screened and socially distanced from others. The circuit court is committed to reducing the exposure of staff, jurors, litigants, witnesses, victims and all others to the virus, while continuing the essential normal operations of the court, including jury trials.
