Taylor County Tourism Grant Details

The Taylor County Tourism marketing grant program provides reimbursement for paid advertising expenses for Taylor County non-profit organizations. To be funded, projects must show that they will generate increased visitor expenditures in the local area.

Instruction:

• Assure your event’s grant request falls within the Taylor County Mission Statement.
• Your requested grant funds can only be used for advertising and promotion of your event.
• Taylor County Tourism must be displayed in all print advertising and mentioned in all radio, TV and social media ads where applicable.  The Taylor County Tourism banner (provided) is to be displayed at the event.
• Your grant application must be presented in person by a representative of the event to answer questions. The Tourism Committee meets the 2nd Tuesday every other month.
• Submit an event budget.
• The grant request cannot be more than 75% of the event’s advertising budget or actual cost.
• Grant monies will not be dispersed until an event summary is presented to the Tourism Committee along with supporting documents (i.e. advertising invoices). Failure to meet Taylor County Tourism guidelines could reduce or disqualify the requested grant monies.
