The Court system remains open for public access and hearings of an emergency nature. However, we have revised our policies to reduce in-person contact.

  1. Filings with the Clerk of Court, Register in Probate/Juvenile Court Clerk will continue to be processed in all cases via the Wisconsin Court’s eFiling System and by mail.
  2. Payments will be processed using Wisconsin Courts’ payment system (available on the website). Payments can also be made through GovPay: www.GovPayNow.Com or 1-888-604-7888. You will need Pay Location Code (PLC) 1598 and Case Number. Payments by check or money order will be accepted by mail or in the drop box. Cash payments will not be accepted in the drop box. The drop box is located to the left of the main entrance doors of the courthouse.
  3. Hearings: If you are a party, attorney, witness, victim or interested person in a scheduled hearing, you may appear by telephone or by Zoom audio and video technology. Further instruction is given with your Notice of Hearing. Appearance in person is allowed but discouraged. If you intend to appear in person, please contact Circuit Court at 715-748-1435.

If the case is open to the public, the public may view the hearing on live stream at V3PPRjPAY6VuwffLA for the courtroom; for the hearing room or hearings before a Court Commissioner. Recording or duplication of any hearing is prohibited and punishable by contempt of court.

If you have any questions regarding your hearings or cases scheduled before the court, contact Cindy Sommer at 715-748-1435 or
