Public Health Vending Machine

  • The Taylor County Health Department was awarded a grant to install and stock three public health vending machines; one outside the dispatch/jail entrance of the Taylor County Courthouse (224 S 2nd Street Medford, WI 54451) available 24/7, one in the lobby of the Taylor County Human Services building (540 E College Avenue Medford, WI 54451) available m-f 8-4:30pm and one in the entrance of the Gilman Rural Fire Department (315 E Mcsloy St, Gilman WI 54451) available 24/7.
  • The public health vending machines provide harm reduction for our community. Harm reduction is an evidence-based approach that is critical to engaging with people who use drugs and equipping them with life-saving tools and information to create positive change in their lives and potentially save their lives.
