If you're curious about the field of social work and want meaningful, hands‑on experience, this role offers a powerful opportunity to support children and families during challenging times. This casual position is responsible for providing parents and children the opportunity to visit one another in a safe and supervised environment when children have been placed in out-of-home care due to abuse and/or neglect concerns. The worker will supervise family interactions, coach, mentor, and support parents in effective parenting techniques and ensure child safety. This position may be required to provide all transportation necessary to facilitate the visitation services, including, when needed, transportation of the child(ren) to and from the visit. This position may be required to provide supervision of visits in an office setting, clients’ homes, and within the community. Additional duties may include providing parenting education and home management skills building. Documentation is essential to the position.

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a closely related field is preferred but not required. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered. A valid driver’s license is required.
