NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Taylor County Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 9:00a.m. to take testimony on the items listed below. The public hearing will be held at the Taylor County Courthouse in the County Board Room at 224 S. 2nd St., Medford, WI. The public may attend in person or submit written comment by 4:00p.m. to the Taylor County Zoning Department by Thursday, September 10, 2026.
A request was received for a variance from Section 31.07, Shoreland Zoning, Taylor County Ordinance from Brian Giese to allow for the building of a garage which is less than the minimum required road setback. The property is located in Section 5, T33N, R3E, Town of Rib Lake, and has a parcel number of 038-00927-0000, with an address of N9420 Spirit Lake Rd.
The above hearing will be held in the County Board Meeting Room of the Taylor County Courthouse, 224 S. 2nd St., Medford, Wl. All parties wishing to be heard are requested to be present. Both written and oral testimony will be entered into the record and considered when making the decisions. All those wishing to testify must be sworn in.
