Starting Pay: $23.96
- Shift differentials: 1st - $0.50 per hour & 2nd - $2.00 per hour
- Excellent benefits to include participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System with 7.2% matched County Contribution
- Annual wage increase
- Additional compensation for duties beyond the scope of original role
- This position works 12-hour shifts of 4 days on and 4 days off.
The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office is looking for dependable, community-minded individuals to join our team as full-time FEMALE Jailer/Dispatchers. This is a great opportunity to serve your neighbors and make a real difference right here in Taylor County.
In this role, you’ll either help care for and supervise individuals in the Taylor County Jail or assist the public and first responders through our Communications Center, including answering 911 calls. While this is a non-sworn position without arrest powers, it is an important part of keeping our community safe.
We’re looking for individuals who are responsible, calm under pressure, and committed to helping others. A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior law enforcement or related experience is a plus but not required.
Applicants will need to complete a medical exam, drug screening, and background check as part of the hiring process.
